Die Einreise nach Mozambique wird etwas umständlicher
Früher - Grenze - Visa - OK!
Ich möchte euch diesen interessanten Schriftverkehr nicht vorenthalten Frage und Antwort

If they are going to be in Johannesburg, then best would be to go to the Moz consulate in Rosebank and apply for visas there. Rosebank usually issues visas on the same day (apply in the morning & collect in the afternoon). EU passport holders are charged R750 for pre arranged visas. At a border post expect to pay anything from R800 to R1000 and it can take a long time to obtain, So obtaining visas prior to arrival removes all risk, saves time at the border and money. (Nelspruit consulate also issues visas but they usually take 24hrs). All consulate & embassies require proof of accommodation bookings. Nelspruit requires a photo while Rosebank does not.
Border visas are currently being issued at Komatipoort and most other border posts (30 days, single entry for tourism purposes only) and although we have not heard of genuine tourists being denied visas there is a risk. I strongly recommend that anyone applying for a visa on arrival ensure that they are able to provide proof of holiday accommodation bookings and return flights. Immigration officials at borders rarely ask for these but would be within their rights to do so.
